Conveyance + Product Handling Solutions

Pulsed Electric Field (PEF)

Through our collaboration with technology partner OptiCept Technologies, we've combined cutting edge PEF technology with decades of experience in hygienic food processing equipment design. Our next generation FPS PEF system is the most efficient and hygienic for processing solid foods in the market, all while minimizing total cost of ownership. Specifically designed for the solid food processing industry, the FPS PEF system offers distinct advantages including enhanced extraction, reduced energy and water usage, less drying and freezing time, and improved product texture and quality.

Blancher Systems

We design, build and install custom blanchers in different sizes – the most consistent in the industry. Every GEM blancher is developed with a focus on high-quality processing, plus low water and energy consumption, from small to large throughput capacities. With engineering ingenuity in mind, GEM constructs robust blanchers using durable materials to ensure superior performance and maximum service life. We offer full service, from procurement to setup, to deliver blanching equipment as stand-alone machines or complete systems to meet your needs.

Fryer Systems

Subsidiary GEM Equipment of Oregon, Inc. has been a manufacturer of custom food processing equipment since 1968. Today, GEM designs, builds, and installs single and two-stage fryers and specialty co-product fryers based on small to large throughput capacities – there are no two alike. Thermal Solutions

We offer a wide range of cooking, sous-vide, heating, cooling, and freezing solutions to complement our other offerings. Along with our patented Spiral Immersion System (SIS)™, our solutions include atmospheric steam cookers, brine coolers and freezers, water bath chillers, batch and continuous sous vide cooking systems, batch and continuous cookers, continuous brine chillers and freezers, and packaged meat product chillers.

Batter + SAPP Systems

Batter mixing and applicator systems are essential in achieving consistent coating and flavor for products such as French Fries. These systems ensure precise mixing of batters to maintain optimal viscosity and even application. With adjustable settings to accommodate various batter types and fry sizes, our systems offer flexibility and improved production efficiency. Applied after blanching, our SAPP and dextrose mixing systems are applied to help control colour and quality of the finished product.
